Gerri is a specialist in asset and financial management. She has extensive experience in asset management maturity assessments, business case & strategy writing, and risk assessment & planning, with over thirty years delivering outcomes for New Zealand government, transport and infrastructure clients that are both robust and commercially sustainable. Gerri is an Assessor for the NZ Treasury undertaking organisational Asset Management Maturity Assessments. This assessment process can be utilised by any organisation in understanding current practises and the robustness of financial management, managing asset creation, asset life and end of life disposal or repurposing.
Prior to joining Sapere, Gerri worked in asset management roles in the infrastructure and transport sectors. She recently played an instrumental role in writing Kiribati South Tarawa Hospitals’ first asset management plan.
Gerri holds a Bachelor of Arts (English & Political Science) from University of Auckland, and Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil) from University of Southern Queensland. She is a member of the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia, Asset Management Council and a NZ Treasury accredited Asset Management Maturity Assessor.
